Big Walk Voice Volume

What it does

Adds separate volume sliders for player voice chat, environment audio and music to Big Walk's own Audio settings screen. The stock game only gives you a single master Volume slider.

This is a client-side mod — it only changes what YOU hear. It doesn't affect other players, doesn't touch save files, and doesn't modify any game files. Big Walk has no anti-cheat, so it's safe to use online.

In game, open Settings → Audio and you'll find PLAYER VOICE, ENVIRONMENT and MUSIC sliders below the stock Volume slider. The Audio list is now scrollable — use the mouse wheel to reach the lower options. Press F1 to open the full config menu, which adds a UI volume slider, an "All Voice" slider that also covers walkie-talkies and megaphones, and toggles for the in-game sliders themselves.

Your settings are saved to a BepInEx config file (not Big Walk's own save), so they persist across restarts.

How to install

1. Find your Big Walk folder: in Steam, right-click Big Walk → Manage → Browse local files. It's the folder that contains Big Walk.exe.
2. Extract everything from the zip directly into that folder. You should end up with winhttp.dll and a BepInEx folder sitting next to Big Walk.exe.
3. Launch Big Walk normally from Steam.
4. First launch only: the game may sit on a black screen for a few minutes while it builds mod support files — let it finish. Every launch after that is normal speed.
5. In game, open Settings → Audio to use the new sliders, or press F1 for the full config menu.
